1:9. அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ என்னண்டையில் கிட்டவந்து நின்று, என்னைக் கொன்றுபோடு; என் பிராணன் முழுதும் இன்னும் போகாததினால் எனக்கு வேதனையாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்.

1:9. அப்போது சவுல், ‘தயவு செய்து என்னைக் கொன்றுவிடு. நான் மிகவும் காயப்பட்டு மரிக்கும் தருவாயில் உள்ளேன்’ என்றார்.

1:9. He said to me, 'Stand over me and finish me off! I'm very dizzy, even though I'm still alive.'

1:9. "Then he begged me, 'Come over here and put me out of my misery, for I am in terrible pain and want to die.'

1:9. And he said unto me, Stand, I pray thee, beside me, and slay me; for anguish hath taken hold of me, because my life is yet whole in me.

1:9. And he said to me 'Stand beside me and kill me, for anguish has seized me, and yet my life still lingers.'

1:9. And he said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life [is] yet whole in me.

1:9. Then Saul said, 'Please kill me. I am hurt badly. And I am about to die anyway.'
